anyone have preferences for the aud versions of shows over the sbd versions? yaknow, where you go for the sbd out of habit but then grab the aud because you enjoy the balance, the ambience or maybe the crowd...

73/06/22 and 82/09/24 are two that come immediately to mind.

thanks in advance

Been listening to 7/31/71 - Yale Bowl. Crowd is noisey and rowdy until the band cranks up and then you can feel the audience blown away as Jerry does some of his best work.

I certainly fall into that category. Personally, I used to be a SBD snob. I think of it as being a sort of status symbol..."Hey I have ... A SBD." But lately I've really warmed up to the Auds. I really love what one of my friends calls crowd surges when something cool happens. With that, check out the AUD of 11/5/77 it's incredible. This mix is perfect and has a very warm sound. The band and the audience are at the perfect level. I prefer it to my Dick's Picks.
